They are full-fronted gaiters designed to be worn below the level of the knee. Relying on a secure fit as a result of the front zip with a hook-and-loop storm flap plus an integrated forefoot strap. The SkyWalk rubber rand of the Berghaus Yeti Attak GORE-TEX® Gaiters is designed to be very tough but it is also replaceable if necessary.
