A lot of people tend to assume that all donkeys are gloomy & pessimistic (here’s looking at you, Eeyore…) but Diego the Donkey says this is just a stereotype. He is the total opposite for one thing! A carefree spirit with a lust for life, Diego’s home for many years has been the snow-tipped Andes mountains in Peru, South America. His first & greatest love is soccer (or fútbol, in Spanish). Diego is superbly light on his feet & is the celebrated striker in his local soccer team, Los Burros Bailandos (The Dancing Donkeys). Diego’s second favourite love is travelling & he is so chuffed to join the Nana Huchy family in Australia. He banters & kicks the soccer ball around with little cousin all day long!
