The second foray into top-level indoor soccer, after the , for Las Vegas came in the form of the Las Vegas Dustdevils of the . The team was all set for the CISL's first season (1993), but their home pitch, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, was not. The team debuted in 1994 and promptly won the league title. In 1995, they moved to the Thomas and Mack Center at UNLV but folded at the end of that season.
